WestCycle’s Governance and Risk Committee advises the Board and oversees the development of policies, charters, codes of conduct and risk management. The Finance and Audit Committee provide monthly finance reports to the Board, oversee the budget and reporting process and manage the delegations.

Tim has been in senior leadership and strategic development roles for more than twenty years. He is currently Director of Executive Education in the School of Business and Law at Edith Cowan University and is a past Assistant Commissioner and General Manager in the public service. He is an Accountant (FCPA) and sits on the Divisional Council of CPA Australia.
Tim has been involved in racing mountain bikes, BMX and triathlon for many years, both as a father of two children who race and as a past and current bike racer. Tim is the current over-50 State Champion in downhill mountain biking. He is also a very regular and enthusiastic transport cyclist; frequently seen in a suit and tie riding to meetings in the city on a mountain bike.

Helen is a Town of Cottesloe councillor and is the current Chair of WestCycle’s Transport Advisory Group.
A medical doctor, Helen is a strong active transport advocate with a focus on health outcomes and social well-being.

Geoff is the founder and Managing Director of Haeberlin Consulting. He has more than 20 years’ experience in organisation, brand, market and customer strategy development and implementation.
Working at board and senior executive level, Geoff has consulted to a wide range of clients including Bankwest, Crown, HBF, East Metropolitan Health Service and Healthway as well as State and Federal Government.
Geoff has a Bachelor of Commerce (Marketing), is Deputy Chair of Future Living Trust, a past Director of WorkFocus Group and previous member of the Curtin University School of Marketing Advisory Board.
An enthusiastic triathlete, Geoff is passionate about the opportunities and unique benefits of cycling in WA for recreation, commuting and competition.

Tim has 23 years experience in Transportation and Land Use Planning, Road Safety, Public Transport and Active Travel.
Tim is a member of the Cycling Walking Australia and New Zealand (CWANZ) Design Innovations Working Group, a Healthy Streets Assessor, and a member of Main Roads WA/IPWEA Road Safety Panel.
He has always ridden a bike for transport since a child and wants to work hard with Westcycle to get more people riding on a safe and connected network in WA.

Debbie is a Chartered Accountant, Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, and experienced Executive Leader with 30 years experience across professional services, large private family business and not-for-profit organisations. She has held Non-Executive Director roles for 10 years, primarily in the not-for-profit sector spanning arts, community services and leadership development.
She has been a Finalist in the WA Telstra Business Women’s Awards, an alumni of Leadership WA, and Is an Associate Certified Coach. Debbie leads her own business coaching and consulting practice and is a facilitator for the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
Debbie is a keen mountain biker. She has been an active member of the WA mountain bike community for 20 years as a competitor, a volunteer and former WAMBA Treasurer and now as a recreational rider can be found most weekends riding her bike in the Perth Hills.

Ben is an experienced strategy and communications professional with a passion for sustainability and the environment. He founded sustainability consultancy Futureproof in 2018 with a purpose of driving positive change to society and the environment.
Ben helps businesses navigate the constantly-changing corporate sustainability landscape, advising micro-caps to ASX100, across industries from resources to education. As an experienced communicator, strategist and sustainability expert, Ben is dedicated to helping businesses grow the right way. Ben has a Bachelor of Arts (Journalism) from Curtin University and a Postgraduate Certificate in Sustainable Business from the University of Cambridge.
Ben is a year-round cyclist, commuting most days into the city and has recently discovered the joy of the hills on two wheels. Ben firmly believes regularly riding a bike can solve most problems facing the world from mental health to climate change.

Michael has been a practising lawyer since 2004. He focuses on environment, planning and related issues and is recognised as an expert in this area and especially for climate change matters. He has worked on some of WA and Australia’s major projects, including on all environmental issues for the Perth Stadium. He has completed a short course in sustainable urban planning at the University of California Berkely, including for how cycling can best be part of our urban and transport planning.
Michael is a keen recreational cyclist. Starting out on the streets of Port Hedland in his youth he has dabbled since in commuting, triathlon, road and mountain bike, including some limited racing. Since having young children he is out less often and now mainly with them around the streets of South Perth. His cycling achievements (palmares) include completing the Munda Biddi north to south in 2013.

Sarah is highly experienced in public policy, advocacy, and government relations, with broad technical expertise across transport and urban planning, road safety, and environmental and sustainability-related areas in both Australia and the UK. Through leadership roles, and working with and on boards, she is also experienced in organisational strategy, impact measurement, business planning and governance.
Sarah is currently the Executive Director of Strategy and Policy at the
Urban Development Institute of Australia (UDIA) WA. She previously held
various leadership roles over nine years at RAC, including in recent years
being the Acting General Manager, Social Impact.
As a recreational cyclist and with her professional background, Sarah is
passionate about playing a role in helping to make bike riding an easier and
safer option for more people, including through improved infrastructure and
streets for people.
Sarah has a BSc (Hons) Environmental Science (First Class) and is a
Chartered Transport Planning Professional.
