Event Details:

This is our first race of the 2026 Winter Season. Open to all men and women cyclists aged 30 years and older.

    • Race Format: Graded Scratch Road Race – Entries are taken at Chidlow Tavern from 7:45am
    • Course: CHIDLOW A – 11 km circuit – starting at corner of Ash Rd and Onslow St
    • Racing commences from 9:00am – Race circuit is East on Ash Rd, turning left at Doconing Rd, travel N/W then turn left at Old Northam Rd returning to Chidlow, then turn left up to the finishing line at Onslow St.
Grades & Distances:
Elite/A grade88 km – 8 laps
B grade77 km – 7 laps
C grade66 km – 6 laps
D grade55 km – 5 laps
E Grade44 km – 4 laps
Race Entry
    • Race Entry for WCMCC members online – $35 Race day On-line late Entry is – $40.
    • Race Entries for non AVCC members online – $50
    • WCMCC Members who have helped the club in some unpaid capacity can claim a free race for Volunteer Duties
    • Transponder Hire is $5 – No charge if you have a BYO Mylaps transponder – you just need to add your transponder number with EntryBoss when you enter online.
    • Members, please use your AVCC EntryBoss profile when you enter (Admin will scratch incorrect entries).
    • West Coast Masters no longer provides automatic refunds for incorrect entries scratched by Race Admin. If you apply for a refund, please email the Treasurer (treasurer@wcmasterscycling.asn.au) including your account details.
    • An administration fee ($5) will be applied to any refund.
    • If you are a member of a team, please ensure your name on the team list your team manager has provided to the Secretary matches the details on your profile, and on your racing license. If your name does not match, your team does not get your points.

    The previous TRIAL RIDER option is no longer available. Please use the ‘Non-Member’ option. (Or join WCMCC for the $35 entry?) The $50 you pay includes your race entry and your race insurance whilst you race with us

Tim Roach (Chair)

Elected Director | Off Road

Tim has been in senior leadership and strategic development roles for more than 20 years and is currently a project risk consultant, and a part time academic at Edith Cowan University.

He is a past Director of Executive Education in the School of Business and Law at Edith Cowan University and Assistant Commissioner and General Manager in the public service. He is an Accountant (FCPA) and previously sat on the Divisional Council of CPA Australia. Tim has been involved in racing mountain bikes, BMX and triathlon for many years, both as a father of two children who race and as a past and current bike racer.

Helen Sadler (Deputy Chair)

Independent Director

Helen is a Town of Cottesloe councillor and is the current Chair of WestCycle’s Transport Advisory Group.

A medical doctor, Helen is a strong active transport advocate with a focus on health outcomes and social well-being.
