BROOME ADVENTURE TRAIL

Explore the Streeter’s Jetty to Town Beach on Two Wheels

What is better than heading out on a family adventure? Doing it on a bike. 🤙

Grab the family, dust off your bikes, and ride down to Town Beach for the WA Day Festival. We are hosting the Broome Adventure Trail— a community hunt designed to let you explore from Streeter’s Jetty to Town Beach foreshore before the festival celebrations kick off.

Simply follow the online map ->Click Here or collect your trail map from our pop-up site near the WA Day celebrations, north carpark, and head out to look for clues

We know parking at Town Beach can be limited. Leave the car at home or park on Dampier Terrace, 2.3km to Town Beach (each way).

  • Location: Broome Town Beach or park at Streeter’s Jetty and ride to Town Beach.

All effort has been made to limit road crossings. Roads will be open to the public and attendees will need to be responsible for ensuring they follow road rules and adjust to the live environment.

Grades & Distances:

The route is up to 2.5km in length each way, total 5km. You only need to complete what you are capable of.

Tim Roach (Chair)

Elected Director | Off Road

Tim has been in senior leadership and strategic development roles for more than 20 years and is currently a project risk consultant, and a part time academic at Edith Cowan University.

He is a past Director of Executive Education in the School of Business and Law at Edith Cowan University and Assistant Commissioner and General Manager in the public service. He is an Accountant (FCPA) and previously sat on the Divisional Council of CPA Australia. Tim has been involved in racing mountain bikes, BMX and triathlon for many years, both as a father of two children who race and as a past and current bike racer.

Helen Sadler (Deputy Chair)

Independent Director

Helen is a Town of Cottesloe councillor and is the current Chair of WestCycle’s Transport Advisory Group.

A medical doctor, Helen is a strong active transport advocate with a focus on health outcomes and social well-being.
