As part of building the Malaga footbridge a section of the Tonkin Highway PSP will be closed between Premier Place and Marshall Road in Ballajura from 31 July. It will reopen in early 2024.
Path users will be detoured via existing paths on Premier Place, Hamelin Drive and Guadalupe Drive (see map).
The Tonkin Gap Alliance has notified properties in the area about the PSP closure and likely increase of cyclists using their street, and urged them to take additional care.
Signs will be installed and the TGA said, “as the detour is via existing shared path facilities and cross overs, there is no concerns around safety of crossing points.”
