WestCycle have been advised that the City of Subiaco is undertaking repairs and safety improvement works to modify the Principal Shared Path (PSP) at Roberts Road between Station Street and Brigid Road. The works aim to reduce conflicts between pedestrians and cyclists and to improve pedestrian safety where the PSP crosses Station Street and Roberts Road near the traffic signals.
The works are scheduled to commence on Monday 20 July 2026 and will be carried out between 7am and 5pm, Monday to Saturday. The project is expected to take approximately 20 working days to complete, subject to weather conditions and site conditions. To facilitate the timely completion of the project, works may also need to be undertaken on Sundays between 9am and 5:00 pm. Any works undertaken on a Sunday will be conducted in accordance with an approved noise management plan.
In accordance with the City’s safe working practices, traffic management will be in place throughout the works, with accredited traffic controllers directing traffic and assisting pedestrians and cyclists as required.
During construction, temporary disruptions to pedestrian, cyclist and vehicle movements may occur, and access to nearby properties may be restricted at times.
Every effort will be made to minimise any inconvenience to residents and businesses, and the City appreciates your patience and cooperation while these important safety improvements are being completed.
