The Main Roads Project Development Team are inviting people to have their say on plans to revitalise the Maylands town centre, “improving amenity, connectivity and safety for everyone”.
“Since the Caledonian Avenue level crossing closed in April 2022, Main Roads has been working closely with the community and stakeholders to develop a masterplan for road, path and streetscape upgrades that has the potential to enhance the Maylands town centre and encourage further growth and development.”
This is a great opportunity to advocate for safer spaces for pedestrians and bike riders in Maylands, and WestCycle encourage everyone to have their say!
Go to MySay Transport to view the plans and provide comment via the online survey. Main Roads staff will also be available to discuss the plans at the Maylands Street Festival on Saturday 11 November 2023.
