UPDATE: This path will reopen on Tuesday 13 February, around midday.
Main Roads have said the final touches are being made to the upgraded section of shared path, adjacent to the Kwinana Freeway, in Murdoch.
The upgraded 1.5 kilometre stretch of path, between the South Street underpass and Farrington Road, should open to pedestrians and cyclists in the first week of February.
In the meantime, please observe all current warning signs and do not enter the worksite.
The detour (as shown on the map below) will remain in place until the upgraded path is operational.
