Come and join us on Sunday the 1st October from 07:30 for The Hopeland Pairs, a 2-up or solo time trial over a distance of 31km on an out and back course. This is an event for either teams of 2 people, or an optional individual event. Registrations will be at the Hopeland Hall.
Both riders in a pair need to make separate entries for this event and each needs to have a transponder on their bike or else the timing system will classify them as DNF.
To be classified as a “road bike” pair, clearly both riders need to be on road bikes. If either rider is on a TT bike, then they are a TT pair.
We can’t run these events unless we have enough volunteers, so if you know somebody who is free to help on the day, please guide them to the ATTA website (atta.asn.au), select the calendar from the menu, choose this event from the list and then navigate to the corresponding “Help” button to enter the volunteer’s details.

Entry fees for this event are non-refundable unless the event is cancelled.
ATTA carries a Sports Injury policy through SRG Group which includes medical benefits up to $1,200, physiotherapy benefits up to $1,200 and death and capital benefits of $50,000 only with a $25 excess. Loss of income, student allowance and domestic home help are not included.

Elected Director | Off Road
Tim has been in senior leadership and strategic development roles for more than twenty years. He is currently Director of Executive Education in the School of Business and Law at Edith Cowan University and is a past Assistant Commissioner and General Manager in the public service. He is an Accountant (FCPA) and sits on the Divisional Council of CPA Australia.
Tim has been involved in racing mountain bikes, BMX and triathlon for many years, both as a father of two children who race and as a past and current bike racer. Tim is the current over-50 State Champion in downhill mountain biking. He is also a very regular and enthusiastic transport cyclist; frequently seen in a suit and tie riding to meetings in the city on a mountain bike.

Helen is a Town of Cottesloe councillor and is the current Chair of WestCycle’s Transport Advisory Group.
A medical doctor, Helen is a strong active transport advocate with a focus on health outcomes and social well-being.
