What happens to Kings Park and Bold Park? Have your say

A 20-year master plan is being developed for two of the most popular places for Perth cyclists: Kings Park and Bold Park.

The Botanic Gardens and Parks Authority (BGPA) want your input into how these precious reserves develop going forward.

“These parks are part of Perth’s identity, and this plan is your chance to help shape their future,” says BGPA. “Rather than jumping straight into design solutions, place-based planning begins with understanding and valuing the distinct character, systems and stories of a place. This is achieved through listening, gathering stories, observing how people, plants and animals inhabit and interact with space, and understanding environmental conditions.”

Have your say by 13 August here.
