Vincent Street On-Ramp Shared Path Diversion (Richmond to Stamford Street, Leederville) – Late July 2019 to February 2020
Updated 6 February 2020
- Reopened February 2020
Detours of the Vincent Street On-Ramp Shared Path between Richmond and Stamford Streets in Leederville will commence from Late-July 2019 to February 2019 to allow the construction of sound walls as part of the Mitchell Freeway Southbound Widening Project. This closure will only have minimal impacts on north-south thoroughfare of the Mitchell Freeway PSP.
Temporary signs showing the detour route will be located at the shared path entry points and will remain in place for the duration of the detours. Directional signage will guide cyclists through the detour route. The effectiveness and condition of detour signage will be regularly monitored.
The Mitchell Freeway Southbound Widening Project will include the construction of a new 2.1km section PSP from Glendalough Station to Hutton Street, with two underpasses at Hutton Street and a bridge over Scarborough Beach Road.
