Tori Dolan is swimming the Port to Pub event to raise awareness and support of Cycling Safety in Western Australia.
While swimming has always been an important part of Tori’s life, it’s been particularly instrumental in helping her confront and overcome some unique physical challenges following an accident with a car whilst cycling.
What followed was many months in hospital, operations and ongoing rehabilitation. Tori is very grateful for the amazing team of people who have helped to get her to the point where she can take on this challenge.
A proactive mindset along with her unerring tenacity, has culminated in Tori deciding to take on the Port to Pub Swim for the purpose of raising awareness and money for Cycling Safety through WestCycle.
The Port to Pub Swim starts at Leighton Beach and finishes at Hotel Rottnest on 21 March 2020.
This is not a story about where Tori has been. The 2020 Port to Pub Swim provides Tori with two key challenges – the challenge of raising awareness and money to increase the safety of bicycle riders and the physical challenge of making it to Rottnest Island in a team of six.
This project focuses on the partnership between cars and bicycle riders on the road.
Through the support of the Euroz Charitable Foundation funds raised for Tori’s Swim will enable WestCycle to deliver safe cycling outcomes for bicycle riders in Western Australia, with specific priorities, advocacy and engagement for WA.
Support Tori as she swims Port to Pub which will benefit the safety of all bicycle riders in Western Australia.
Donations of $2 or more are tax-deductible.
Thank you to Euroz and FISKI for their fantastic support of Tori’s Swim for Cycle Safety.
