SOUTH FREMANTLE RSP DIVERSION

South Fremantle Recreational Shared Path Diversion (Scott Street to Capo D’Orlando Dr) – 3 September 2018 to mid-September 2018

The Public Transport Authority will begin work in late-August 2018 to remove three redundant platforms along the Fremantle Line, south of Fremantle Station. The project involves the demolition of unused platforms and associated infrastructure (including ramps, retaining structures, and lighting).

To facilitate these works a temporary shared path closure of around 450m is required between Scott Street and Capo D’Orlando Drive. This closure is expected to be in place for the first two weeks of September, during removal of the Success Harbour platform.

Traffic management will be in place to direct cyclists and pedestrians, with a diversion to be established along the footpath on the opposite side of Marine Terrace.
