Expected completion early 2021
- The PSP between Maida Vale Rd and Sultana Cr opened on 8 May 2020.
- The section of PSP Sultana Cr and Berkshire Rd that was not originally part of the scope of this project has now been upgraded to PSP standard after WestCycle and other community members raised this as an issue. Thanks to Main Roads WA and the Department of Transport for actioning this feedback. This section opened on 1 October 2020.
- The PSP between Kalamunda and Maida Vale Rd will be completed in line with the completion of the Kalamunda Rd Interchange, expected completion early-2021.
Sultana Cr to Berkshire Road Upgrade
On 25 March 2019, the State Government announced that an additional 1.8km of Principal Shared Path will be constructed adding to the already committed 1.2km as part of the Roe Highway / Kalamunda Road Interchange Upgrade.
The project will now connect Kalamunda Road to the PSP’s current dead end at Berkshire Road in Forrestfield and will be built on the eastern side of Roe Highway, connecting the communities of Forrestfield, Maida Vale and High Wycombe.
