Water Corporation’s contractor DM Civil will be undertaking drainage maintenance work in Osborne Park starting Saturday 19 March 2022.
The majority of work will be undertaken Monday to Sunday 7am to 6pm. However, some night work may be required. This work is expected to be completed mid-year.
Where is this happening?
Work is happening on drainage areas on both sides of the Mitchell Freeway. Approximately 300 metres south of Roberts Street and Roberts Street West in Osborne Park. Refer map below.
Traffic management along freeway shared pat
The cyclist and pedestrian shared path along both sides of the freeway will be impacted.
- East side: the path will remain open, and a traffic controller will be in place when needed to allow cyclists and pedestrians to safely pass. This will be in place from Saturday 19 March 2022 until end of April 2022
- West side: the path will be closed from Roberts Street West to Scarborough Beach Road. This will be in place from Tuesday 22 March 2022. A detour will be in place for cyclists and pedestrians:
- Travelling south: Robert Street West > Frobisher Street > Scarborough Beach Road
- Travelling north: Scarborough Beach Road > Frobisher Street > Robert Street West
