The Midvale Speed Dome officially reopened on Monday the 6th of July following a series of important upgrades to the complex.
Novice and experienced track cyclists are invited to return to the world class facility to enjoy the exciting new upgrades, which include:

- New paint and signage around the venue
- Anti-slip coatings to flooring, including the infield, ramp and pit area
- Other venue improvements including to the car park and firefighting facilities
WestCycle’s acting CEO Glenn Te Raki, said “We’re very happy… (the changes) will allow us to run more international and certainly national-level events, so riders and clubs are potentially in a better position since the upgrades have gone ahead.”
