Last year, the Munda Biddi Trail found itself in the international media spotlight with Declan’s Fastest End to End record and the Race to the Rock Challenge. The Rock is a riding event that commenced in Albany on 2 September 2017, with riders attempting to ride across the remote tracks and outback roads to Uluru in central Australia: a 3000km completely unsupported.
The Foundation would like to say a big THANK YOU to the amazing, passionate and dedicated volunteers for their invaluable support and commitment to the Trail.
Late last year, it is with sadness that we said goodbye to our wonderful Volunteer and Events Coordinator – Carina McMillen. We will miss her contagious smile and boundless energy. From all of us in the Executive Team and Volunteer community, we say thank you and all the best for your next 2 wheel adventure.
We now welcome Toni Burbidge as the Foundations Executive Officer! An avid rider herself, Toni is excited to be working with the Munda Biddi.
“I look forward to meeting the Volunteers that help make the Munda Biddi what it is, sharing the Tales from the Trail of inspirational riders and progressing the trail to be a top destination for bike riding in WA.
I am really excited to jump into this exciting yet challenging role and look forward to working with the Munda Biddi Trail Foundation Board and it’s members.”

REALIGNMENTS OF THE TRAIL
Denmark – Wilderness Ocean Walk/Ride
The Munda Biddi Trail was aligned along a much more scenic route between Denmark and Greens Pool. It provides stunning views of the ocean and inlet.
Collie Spur Realignment
Parks and Wildlife Services are currently realigning the Trail into Collie and therefore will be reducing the existing spur to approx 2-3km only. A fantastic realignment that will allow riders to experience new parts of the Trail once completed.
Albany Southern Terminus relocation
The Albany Southern Terminus will be relocated next to the Visitors Centre as agreed by Council. This will happen approx May 2018.
