WestCycle has recently received a higher than normal amount of reports from the bike riding community. In particular around doublegees (caltrop) and illegal trail bikes on the PSP networks.
While we are always happy to help, we have prepared a guide to help you report hazards and make the process much more efficient.
From experience, the better the information in the report such as photos, clear and helpful descriptions and a contact number that the relevant agency can call you back for clarification, the more likely the issue will be addressed.
The most challenging part is knowing who to contact (is it a Main Roads, a Local Government issue or someone else?), so our recommendation is to start with the relevant local government.
Government agencies genuinely want to ensure that their infrastructure is safe and well maintained. Community feedback is vital to help government agencies be aware of issues on the networks.
