FREMANTLE PSP UPDATE

Fremantle Principal Shared Path (Grant Street to Victoria Street Station)

A tender to extend the Principal Shared Path (PSP) along the Fremantle railway line from Grant Street to Victoria Street Station was released on 14 September 2018.

The 2.8-kilometre project, which makes up the first two stages of the entire extension, will significantly improve connectivity and safety for local residents and visitors within the Town of Cottesloe.

Construction is due to commence in December 2018, with completion anticipated by June 2019.

Following completion of the first two sections, the State Government will be progressing design and construction of the remaining two sections between Victoria Street Station and the Swan River.
