Forrest Street (Fremantle to Melville) Local Bicycle Route Diversion (Stirling Highway, Fremantle)
2 April 2020 to mid-2021
The current Stirling Highway crossings at Forrest Street and Holland Street will be closed to allow construction of the High Street Upgrade. Detours of the Forrest Street Local Bicycle Route (Fremantle to Melville) will be in place for the duration of the underpass construction until 2021. The Forrest Street crossing will be detoured via the Marmion Street traffic signals. The Holland Street crossing will be detoured to the Stirling Highway and High Street intersection traffic signals initially, and later via Marmion Street. Directional signage will be in place along the detour route.
