The RMHC Ride for Sick Kids WA sees over 30 riders cycling through the WA countryside to raise money for Ronald McDonald House Charities WA.
This year will see us take off from Margaret River travelling through the stunning South West wine region back up to Perth. We love staying in the local towns and throwing in a few hills on the way to make it more interesting. Over the four days we will be covering a (minimum) total of 400km:
Day 1: Margaret River Loop (60km)
Day 2: Margaret River – Bunbury (130km)
Day 3: Bunbury – Mandurah (130km)
Day 4: Mandurah – Ronald McDonald House Nedlands (85km)
Our dedicated team of support riders will make sure everyone is safe (first and foremost!), has fun, and will be able to recover for the next day. There will be scheduled rest breaks about every 20-30km as well as a lunch break to replenish water bottles, have a bite to eat and stretch the legs.
All dinners and shared accommodation are organised for the entire group for the duration of the ride, and our support crew is second to none.
Each Rider is required to pay a $500 registration fee, and raise a minimum amount of $3,000 for Ronald McDonald House Charities WA (RMHC WA).
This registration fee will cover your transport, rider kits, accommodation, food and some beverages over the course of the 4 days.
Fundraising can start immediately after registration through your individual fundraising account up until after the Ride has finished. We will assist with providing a Fundraising Toolkit, facts and figures so you have all of the information you require to share with your social networks and connections. We’re only just an email or phone call away if you have any queries!
