MARGARET RIVER
ON SATURDAY, 11th March 2023, we head to the iconic Margaret River trails also known as ‘The Pines’ or ‘Wooditjup Trails.’ The venue has seen some recent upgrades plus the completion of new trails. With short and fast descents, machine-made berms plus some rocky sections for good measure, its a great warm-up event for the new year and a great introduction to new Enduro riders.
Riders are permitted to race just a single day, however, Series points and weekend overall positions are only awarded to riders who complete both days racing. No presentations on Saturday – all final results and presentations take place following Sunday racing.
ON SUNDAY, 12th March 2023, we head to the Dunsborough and Districts Country Club and ride some more fun (and pedally) trails with plenty of jumps for the riders and spectators. Although relatively flat, the Cape Mountain Bikers and supporters have done an amazing job squeezing in as much goodness as possible, and even a bit of ‘gnar!’

Event Details
Established in 2017, the Rotary Tour of the Blackwood is one of the most challenging rides in Western Australia. Starting by the banks of the mighty Blackwood River, the Full Tour meanders some 130km through stunning countryside between beautiful Bridgetown and the magical townsites of Balingup and Nannup, and features over 2000m of climbing including a Category 4 ascent toward the finish line.
The beautiful Half n Best and new Not-So-Cozy courses are great fun too!
The Half n Best event begins in Bridgetown, and heads towards Boyup Brook, but veers off through Greenbushes to meet the other main cycle route on the Brockman HWY from Nannup to Bridgetown. Finish is back at the Blackwood River Park for a distance of 65 kms.
The “Not-So-Cosy” starts at Greenbushes and winds its way along the Maranup Ford Road to meet the Brockman HWY returning to Blackwood River Park for a distance of 30 km.
Registrations close 14th of March 2023.
All proceeds from this ride are donated to support youth mental health and Blackwood Youth Action, who provide much needed psychological support services and mental wellness programs for at-risk youth in the Blackwood region.
All information is available via the Website www.blackwoodtour.info or via The Blackwood Tour Facebook page.

Event Details
Australia’s premier charity event for the prevention of youth suicide and depression.
The Hawaiian Ride for Youth is held annually in March across 4.5 days with riders covering over 700kms on their way from Albany to Perth to raise funds and awareness for Youth Focus. While cycling through towns in WA’s South West, Great Southern and Wheatbelt the riders visit high schools to engage with students on issues of youth suicide, depression, anxiety and self-harm.
The purpose of the Hawaiian Ride for Youth is to raise funds to support Youth Focus’ youth mental health services.
The vision of the Hawaiian Ride for Youth is to remove the stigma associated with mental health.
The Hawaiian Ride for Youth is an incredibly rewarding event to be involved with and it takes a large team of committed people to ensure that the event is a success year on year.
Over the last 19 years, the Ride has raised an unbelievable $24 million for Youth Focus, to assist the organisation in providing a range of early intervention and prevention services free of charge, aimed at supporting young people and their families to overcome the issues associated with suicide, depression, anxiety and self-harm.
