Coaching courses are run by Mountain Bike Australia.
The Level 0 MTB Skills Instructor course – is the entry point to the MTBA coaching pathway and is aimed at parents, clubs and teachers who want to learn the basics of group management, risk assessment and skills teaching techniques.
The Level 1 Mountain Bike Skills Instructor course – is a two-day theory and trail intensive aimed at Level 0 Instructors wanting to accelerate their instructing to the next level.

Commissaire courses are run by Mountain Bike Australia.
There are two levels of MTB Commissaires:
Club/Regional Commissaire – a course specifically targeted at the official who desires to assist in the conduct of club and regional level racing. The course requires candidates to complete the Club/Regional Level E-Learning Module
National Commissaire – an advanced course for officials who want to officiate at National events and Championships. The course is conducted in conjunction with events selected by MTBA and provides training and information on the finer points of officiating at the elite level. To attend the course you must have had at least two years of experience as an active Club/Regional Commissaire, complete the National Level Commissaire E-Learning Module and hold a current MTBA membership.
