The Burns Beach to Mindarie Shared (aka Dual Use) Path project is to construct a 2.35 kilometres path which will connect additional sections of path to be constructed adjacent to Burns Beach Estate (PEET) in the South and Catalina Estate (Tamala Park Regional Council) in the North. Once all three sections are completed, the path will create a continuous route from North Fremantle to Jindalee.
This is a joint project funded by the Western Australian Planning Commission and Cities of Joondalup and Wanneroo. The City of Joondalup is coordinating the project on behalf of both Cities.
Construction of the main section was completed in December 2019. The connecting sections will be constructed by PEET in the South and by Tamala Park Regional Council in the North. The City is working with the City of Joondalup and Tamala Park Regional Council to deliver the Northern link to Mindarie in early 2020. Stakeholders are working to deliver the Southern link as soon as possible.
