Introducing The Big Bike Month Blast-Off launch event for WA Bike Month 2022!

On Saturday 1st October 2022 at Mindeerup (Mends Street Jetty, South Perth), we have a heap of fun activities including: 

Bicycle Skill Sessions

Session 1 – 1:20pm – 2:40pm

Session 2 – 2:45pm – 4:00pm

Suit ages children 6 years and above, adults of all ages. Limited to 16 participants for each session. Must bring own bicycle.

WA Bike Month is Western Australia’s annual celebration of bike riding. For over 30 year the Department of Transport has coordinated WA Bike Month. WA Bike Month aims to promote and encourage people of all ages and abilities to ride bikes for transport, fun and for a healthier lifestyle. WA Bike Month is an initiative of the State Government, funded by DoT and administered by WA’s peak body for bike riding WestCycle.

Yes! This is a free community event to celebrate bike riding. 

Please let one of the WestCycle staff at the event know you do not wish for your photograph to be taken. 

No. There will be a range of stalls and other entertainment. 
You will need to bring your own bike to ride on the pump track, join in on the skills sessions and guided rides.
