New Temporary Connection Between Tapper Road and Ghostgum Avenue, Treeby
As part of the Armadale Road Upgrade project, a temporary shared path will be constructed between Tapper Road and Ghostgum Avenue in Treeby.
The temporary path, (shown below in blue) will be two and a half metres wide with an asphalt surface and extend from Tapper Road to Ghostgum Avenue. It will connect existing footpaths (shown in orange), and includes a two metre wide connection along the Calleya Estate wall at its eastern end.
The temporary path is being constructed in response to community feedback to provide immediate and much-needed pedestrian and cyclist connectivity between Calleya Estate and the wider path network in Jandakot and Cockburn Central.
Construction of this temporary PSP will commence in late October and are scheduled for completion by the end of 2018.
