Tim's Ride

Registrations are now open for Tim’s Ride. Tim’s Ride is about raising the awareness of cyclist safety on the road. More importantly it is about riding as ONE to remember Tim Anderson.

Tim Anderson, a safety conscious cyclist, was killed tragically in March 2012 on his way home riding along Curtin Avenue in Cottesloe. He did everything that a cyclist should do – he wore a high visibility vest, white cycling jersey, helmet, front and rear lights. Yet he was tragically struck down by a drunk driver who had little regard for the safety of others and the enormous potential of Tim.

Tim’s Ride will be held on Saturday 10th November and registrations are now openA limited number of registrations are available so act fast.

All funds raised through Tim’s Ride will go towards the Tim Anderson Scholarship. Tim was an excellent student and education was an important part of his life. The aim of the scholarship is to support the education of young West Australians who have been involved with Youth Focus. The recipient may be someone who has received assistance from Youth Focus, or someone undertaking post graduate studies in the area of youth mental health.
